My first blog- I’m a big girl now

Welcome to my first blog.  I’m not really prepared but happy to be here.  This is just a tester for Russ and me.  We hope you like our new website.  Russ and Jason have worked really hard on it, so they deserve props.  It’s the night before we prepare to leave on tour so I am ill-prepared to write anything of significance.  I’m grateful to have a new website! – Susan

Have fun on tour, rock it out in Berwyn at Fitzgerald’s. My old “stomping” grounds. And on a side note, it where I met Mel in 1986 when he was on tour with Bayou Rhythm and CJ Chenier. A very special place for us.

Hello, I’m trying to find out information on a song you and your group made very famous called Indian Lake. For years the story has went on that it was about Indian Lake (Russells Point, Ohio or another resort in New York. Any help would be most appreciated. Will you being doing any concerts in Ohio this summer? Thanks for all the great songs of the 60’s.

Saw you at the Wood House concert on 6/30, what FUN! In case you couldn’t tell, we all enjoyed your covered vinyl version of Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme. Brian from the Bottle Rockets jamming with ya’ll was a hit as well.

P.S. Your new album is very good :). Hope you enjoyed your day off in St. Louis!

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and Russ last evening, July 15, in Sellersville, PA. The meet and greet was a perfect conclusion to an outstanding performance by you and your family. Russ has a way of breaking the ice and making people feel very comfortable. You and Russ sure make a great couple. I only wished I could seen and heard more from Miranda. She definitely has your talent . . . and your good looks.

I cannot say enough about how much you and your family
were able to draw me out. I tend to be very shy but the Cowsills took care of that rather quickly.

Now, Please take care of that toe of yours’! Okay?

    Take care.

You and Russ are off to a very good blog.

It was great being in Sellersville, PA to see you and your family perform last night (July 15).

The meet and greet was the perfect ending to a great performance. Russ has a way of making people feel very comfortable with his laid back personality. You and Russ definitely make a great couple.

It is very rare that I can spend time with a family
who can really draw me out. I tend to be a shy guy.
However the Cowsills took care of that in short order.

Now you need to be good to Susan. Please take care of that toe! You must have been in pain while you were

Take care and the best of luck to the family.

saw the show last night at Mohegan Sun. Wouldn’t have missed it for anything. The harmonies are incredible and your solo with “Be My Baby” blew me away as it did last winter. You put on a great show. Great song selection. When will you and Russ be touring together as a duo in the Connecticut/Rhode Island area. I’d like to see the two of you with the Susan Cowsill Band. You have a beautiful voice Susan. I hope you never stop performing. Ever considered playing Tanglewood up in Lenox, Massachusetts some summer? Continued success and all the best for you and your family.
